Aaron Mullis

Mr. Mullis grew up in Pikeville, Tennessee where he graduated from Bledsoe County High School in 2000. ¬†He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Latin and Classical Civilizations and ¬†a minor in Psychology. ¬†He attended law school at the University of Memphis. ¬†While in law school, he was a national semi-finalist in the American Bar Association’s student tax challenge and he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Insurance Law in 2010. ¬†Mr. Mullis clerked at the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands with the Coordinator of the Tennessee Taxpayer Project. ¬†During his clerkship, Mr. Mullis assisted low income taxpayers in obtaining collection alternatives from the IRS and assisted in preparation for trial before the United States Tax Court.

Since graduating law school, Mr. Mullis has become licensed to practice law in Teneessee and in the United States Tax Court.  He enjoys helping clients negotiate with the IRS  and in preparing estate plans to limit  estate tax liabilities.  In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Mullis has also developed several small businesses in the field of real estate and new construction homes.  His experience in running his own businesses  led him to business planning with a focus on cost saving practical solutions.

Mr. Mullis currently lives in the town of Louisville, TN with his wife Becky and three adorable dogs.  Becky is a veterinarian who is currently working on her residency in Small Animal Nutrition at the University of Tennessee.  They are expecting their first child early next year and could not be more excited.
